As Jesus’ love transforms us, we are compelled to share His healing love with our neighbors. Alliance ministries show best how we share the practical message of Christ’s love with the marginalized, the poor, the wounded, and the sick at home and around the world.

We at Grand Rapids Alliance help ministries by pledging of our finances to help others to spread the Good News through the Great Commission Fund. Through this funding we partner in demonstrating and verbalizing the love of Christ in our broken neighborhoods and the world. We help provide critically needed medical care and vocational training in under developed communities. Baptizing and discipling new believers in God’s Word. Serving at risk populations including children of in-mates, women in poverty, and those vulnerable to trafficking. Planting new churches among last-reached communities, including the United States. Helping rebuild the lives of families devastated by war and natural disasters. Overseeing community development projects, specializing in agriculture. Producing educational/evangelistic radio broadcasts. Training and equipping future church leaders in national church networks.

FEED MY STARVING CHILDREN - We do fund raising and help pack boxes for this ministry. Every year we work hard at helping to meet the needs of families across the country and helping them find the strength to move forward and flourish through this organization.

ENVISION SHORT TERM MISSIONS - A short term mission opportunity provided through the church and C&MA for individuals or groups who feel lead by the Spirit to do mission work in other countries. Envision Trips are from 7- 10 days and a team went from here to El Salvador. Where they helped to build a church nursery, build relationships with the people and see God at work through them. Envision Internship is an individual that goes from our church to do overseas ministries for 6 weeks to two years. We currently have one member of our church working in El Salvador under the leadership of a site coordinators, and having the opportunity to grow through mentoring and discipleship, learn a new culture, and explore if serving in urban or cross-country ministry is for them!

Operation Christmas Child Shoebox Ministry- Our church is a drop off location for Operation Christmas Child Shoeboxes. We participate in the sharing of the Gospel of Jesus Christ and The Great Commission in this ministry, by sending shoeboxes filled with gifts of toys, clothing and basic needs, along with a personal note. These boxes are shipped overseas to many different countries.

Reaching Our Neighbors

Our church also helps fund FELLOWSHIP OF CHRISTIAN ATHLETES (FCA) monthly. The FCA is a ministry that challenges the coaches and athletes to use their influence as believers, to use the transforming power of Jesus Christ in the platform of sports.

Summer Camps at BIG SANDY CAMP for the youth. Through the church you have availability for discounts and grants to be applied for, to be able to send your child to camp. At Big Sandy Camp there are life changing experiences that will help your child be who God made him or her to be. Each year there are new themes to learn about Jesus and help prepare our young people for the challenges in life they will face.
