Our Pastors
Lead Pastor
Pastor Erik Kling began as lead Pastor in 2019. He previously served as the Grand Rapids Alliance Church Associate Pastor in charge of the Youth and Discipleship Making ministries since 2008. God has richly blessed our congregation with his servant leadership. Erik obtained his Masters of Church Leadership from Crown College in 2017 and was ordained as a Christian and Missionary Alliance Pastor in 2019. He enjoys spending time with family, fishing, boating, board games, skiing, camping and anything outside. His wife (Frances) and two children (Cecelia and Ezra) are blessed additions to Erik’s life and ministry.
Youth Pastor
Cody Edwards joined the team in July of 2019. He grew up in the Detroit Lakes area and attended the Community Alliance Church and their youth group as well. He completed his Masters Degree in Ministry Leadership from Crown College in June of 2019. He loves to kayak, and spend time outside in God’s creation usually with his camera. He has a heart to help students articulate what they believe about Jesus and be able to share that same faith with their families and friends.
